Spring Jewelry Travels

I am off to London on March 7th to put the final touch on the upcoming trip in May, “Made by Hand.” I think I mentioned my partnership with London Craft Week in an earlier post, which will give us unparalleled access to workshops, makers (from the unknown to the celebrity), famous studios, galleries, film screenings and a myriad of other activities. How about a night at the opera in your private box? A Rue Pigalle exclusive event at one of the century-old jewelry Maisons? Or a behind the scene visit of a royal landmark?

On the recommendation of my travel agent partner, we are staying at Flemings, in the heart of Mayfair — does it get any more Londoner than that? I invite you to view the itinerary and book your seat.

I am also going to Paris where I have slated numerous meetings with new artists and partners to add to the Paris/Provence trip, “Inspired by Nature”, June 6th to 14th. The “temps forts” of the trip will be our Versailles private visit (our lecturer is an expert on Marie-Antoinette jewelry), the visit of La Monnaie de Paris (their jewelry studio makes the official decorations such as the Legion d’Honneur) and our excursion at the private art Fondation Carmignac on the island of Porquerolles. There are 2 spots left on the trip. I know you want to come — here is the itinerary. Email me to book your seat. Come with a friend or by yourself; the ladies who are already booked are fun and fascinating.
